November 12, 1934 – Al Hendrix was born “Clyde Allen Hendrix” in Miami, Florida. Hendrix was an American rockabilly singer and songwriter. He began performing in clubs around Bakersfield, California and met Buck Owens at the legendary Blackboard Cafe.
