ROCkabilly Hop is dedicated to supporting, fostering, and sharing the music, dance, fashions, and youth culture of the 1950s in the Rochester, NY area. We hold dance classes and open dance practices as well as periodic events.
What’s with the capital “ROC”?
ROC is the airport designation for Rochester, NY. Since we are in Rochester, and “rockabilly” begins with “roc” it made sense to use the capital “ROC” to show where we are.
We’re not limited to Rochester, though. We’ve given workshops and classes from Rochester to Ithaca and Buffalo to Syracuse. Prior to COVID-19 we hosted regular dance classes and events in the Rochester suburbs of Charlotte and Webster.
We look forward to hosting these again soon.
Use social media and email info to the left to contact us directly. We’d love to hear from you.
